So a couple of my friends have posts about their veiws on gay marriage, either there is something going on in their states or I am just out of the loop of what the hell is going on the US!  haha.  Either way, since both had different views I am just going to make a post of my views instead of typing it up twice!

Buntly:  I dont think gay 'marriage' should be legal, I am all for civil unions.   Reasons:  Marriage is made for man and woman, the bible states gay marriage is wrong.  I know, I know, seperation of church and state.  Sorry but that came AFTER the constitution, which was founded on Christianty.  Marriage is a religous ceremony.  You can't use seperation of church and state when you are arguing a religous ceremony.   As Christians we need to be tolerant and love everyone with out judgement and I also understand that my religious views are not everyone's views and it is not my place to say that same sex relationships should not be able to unite and have the benifits of a married couple.  But marriage is man and woman, a religious ceremony, God FORBIDS homosexuality (Mt 19:4-6, Rom 1:26, 27, 1 Cor 6:9, 1 Tim 1:10...etc.).  I realize that everyone is free to believe what they want, whether its in God, god, god's, or no god and we are to love and respect everyone the same, we are not the ones to judge.  I dont think that just because you do not believe in God or his laws that your beliefs are to be stepped on but I also expect the same respect in that the religiousness of marrige is not trampled on by someone who isn't following God's laws anyways?   Politically, gays should be able to unite and have the same legal benifits of a heterosexual marriage, but marriage is a religous ceremoney between a male and female.   God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. 

Feel free to debate my point of view respectfully :)  No one will be  disrespected or unfriended for their POV, but lets keep it civil :)

I have been praying about this for three days now and don’t feel like I have gotten an answer yet but here are my feelings.  I can put up with him lying, sneaking, and being stupid (ie.making bad choices-lol) when it only affects me; but when he dopes up and then comes to be with my kids it isn’t just me he is hurting anymore. I have known for a while that he was doing it over there but now that he has come home reeking of it and then goes to play with the kids it is the last straw.   It is my job to protect my kids and do what is best for them.  I just don’t know what that is.  I made the decision before that it was better for Treyton to have no father than a loser (to say the least) for a father and still to this day have never doubted that I made the right choice.  Now I feel so torn about making the same choice again (it doesn’t seem as easy as before, seems like everything is different when it is all really the same?)  because God hates divorce, I love being the one to raise my kids rather than them being in daycare, I love that they have the ‘traditional’ family and have 2 role models (just wish both of them were positive), I love being married, I don’t want to give up on something that I have put so much work into and been through so much hurt for.  I don’t understand him.  He skips church to get high.  He goes to get high before even seeing his kids when he gets home from work.  He has an hour and a half with them before their bedtime and chooses to spend it getting high,  on the computer and on the phone.  How does someone’s priorities get so screwed up when it seems so obvious to me what should come first.    I try to keep my priorities in order…God, Brian, the kids, family and friends, etc.  Putting him before my kids is so hard but I do my best to think of him first even before them because that is what the bible says to do.  His are Himself, Yamaha, the kids, friends, family…not sure where God or I fit in after that.  I am not perfect but I try my best to do what the Lord commands.  I pray for him every night, more than I pray for the kids even.  I am exhausted, not from lack of sleep, but emotionally from trying to deal with him and his choices.  My body hurts so badly, all the time, I am not sure how much longer it will hold out.  I try to stay positive; I try to avoid confrontation; I try to make the Godly choice no matter how it affects me or hurts me.  I would love to know what God is preparing me for with all of this because that scares me the most-what could be worse than this??

I was getting all the laundry together to start washing.  I was collecting the towels out of the bathroom and Trace was bringing them down stairs.  He was taking a long time getting back upstairs so I yelled down " are you still helping me?"  his reply under the cut...

I was supposed to go in for an amnio last Thursday to be sure that the lungs were fully developed.  I got there, they did the ultrasound but there was no pockets of fluids to draw from because of my size, she is so cramped in there.  No amnio, no induction :(  They told me that I could schedule another closer to 39 weeks.  So now I am going in the morning (friday, 7th) to be induced.

My family (dad and aunt) came in from MI to stay with my kids and they were supposed to leave today (Thurs), they forfieted their tickets home because they couldnt change them to a later date.  They found some cheap tickets for a later day but they had to give 7 days notice, so they will be here until next week sometime.  Brian is supposed to go out of town for his yearly training thing next week, not sure is he is going or not.

This baby still seems kind of unreal to me, it doens't seem like I will actually have a baby in my arms tomorrow!  I never felt like this with the other kids.

I am really confused...83%, or something like that, of Americans claim to be Christian.  Yet Obama just won the election, I am sorry but if u are Christian you would not vote for Obama, he is for every thing that the bible says is wrong.  You just can not support Obama and be Christian.  Dont get me wrong, I am not really for McCain either (doesn't have a good plan for helping the economy), but I think he at least WANTS to help America, where as Obama, I feel, has alterior motives (wont get into all the things I see wrong with him in office).  It really bothers me that so many people are voting for him just because he is black, or because McCain is so much like Bush yet they know nothing of Obama, or just because they want to say that they voted for the guy that set the precident for the first black president.  I heard that there was interview in Harlem where the interveiwer asked people about what issues were making them support Obama but used McCains issues.  Such as "so you are against abortion?"  "yeah, people who support killing babies should be killed, that is why I am voting for Obama!"   People should have to take a basic quiz proving they are at least somwhat educated on the issues before they can vote.     I went to register to vote and I missed it by a day, I was/am so dissapointed, I have never voted before and was really looking forward to it this year.  I wish I could have been a part of this election :( 

I was just holding Trace and I said to him "In 2 more days you won't be mom's baby any more" he replied "I always be your baby, mom" in the sweetest little voice ever.

I haven't really followed much of the republican stuff but the obama/clinton stuff is hard to avoid.  I just can't seem to understand why anyone would want Obama as a president?  I see Obama stickers all over cars around here but all I hear is horrible stuff about him
-SUPPORTS late abortion KILLING of surviving babies!
-wont say the pledge of allegiance or put his hand on his heart for it
-mocks the bible...which the country was founded on!
-his 'hero' is a pastor who has the 'kill whitey' attitude
-his voting history is inconsistant with what he says he supports
-he is constantly changing his story to cover up when he shoves his foot in his mouth

If anyone supports him I would like to hear from you the most, I am so confused at why anyone would support this?

Kroger over ordered swiss cheese. Normally deli swiss is $7+ a pound, it was $.99 a pound!!!  I stocked up, I wish I could freeze cheese, I would have bought it out!
